Ellwood Youth FC Football Club was re- formed in June 2015 by Jason Bevan after the previous head of youth FC Nick Housden resigned from the Club.

The Club would of had to fold, so Jason with the help of Glos FA  had to take on all the roles Chairman, Treasurer, Club Secretary, as well as Manager of the remaining Youth Team.

The Club reformed with £26.00 to start with and no football equipment, over the first few years Jason Bevan put in his own personal money in well excess of £2500 to support the new youth set up as it grew.

Since the reformation of the club in 2015 the club has gone from strength to strength.

The club allow children to develop not only their football skills but also socially. With the emphasis on children developing as people rather than just their footballing ability.

In 2015 the club appointed Gary Sutton as the Head of Youth Football, this was a major coup for the club. Gary is a real asset to have at the club and provides a wealth of experience in coaching, teaching, youth work and fund-raising. Gary Sutton also offer the Ellwood players the opportunity to develop there football by doing School Holiday Football Courses throughout the year a real bonus for the Ellwood Players. Gary Sutton left in 2019.
